The Prefecture of Tarn-et-Garonne is taking new measures in accordance with the health situation. Since this Wednesday, and according to health criteria, the incidence rate for Covid-19 has reached a level of 55 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants, or above the alert threshold. As a result, the Tarn-et-Garonne passes into a zone of “high vulnerability”.
The Defense Council could place the department in the red zone from this Friday.
Wearing a mask compulsory in the hyper center of Montauban
Wearing a mask was already compulsory throughout the department in open air markets, second-hand shops but also in the hypercentre of Montauban on Saturdays. It is henceforth extended by the prefecture. From this Thursday, the mask becomes compulsory every day of the week from 8 a.m. to midnight in Montauban and for any gathering of more than 10 people on the public highway, but this time throughout the department. Note also that this obligation concerns all people over 11 years old.
Mask compulsory for the 400 shots
The same goes for the feast of the 400 blows, the funfair of Montauban scheduled for this weekend from Saturday 12 to Monday 14 September at Cours Foucault. The mask becomes mandatory this weekend throughout the festivities area. Checks will be made at the entrances to respect the 5,000-person tonnage inside the perimeter. The ProD2 match in Sapiac against Biarritz on Sunday is also maintained with the gauge of 5,000 spectators.
14 schools in the departments are already affected by cases of Covid with class closures.
