Wearable: Apple outrageously dominates the market (but the Pdm does not budge)

When we talk about wearable (connected objects to wear on oneself), there is Apple and the others. IDC has made its little calculations which confirm the cruel reality: during Q4 2020, sales of wearable of Apple (Apple Watch, AirPods) reached 55.6 million units, up 27.2% compared to Q4 2019 (43.7 million). If Apple does not gain Pdm, it is largely because of the meteoric progress of the Indian manufacturer BoAt, which ranks fifth and sees its sales increase by 470.1% over one year (for 5.4 million devices sold)!
