Each quarter, the Bank of France publishes the usury rate, the maximum rate that a bank can apply when offering a loan, whether for an individual or for a company.
Find below the table of the different wear rate by type of loan published by the Banque de France. In this table, you can also find for information the average rates applied by the banks during loans and credits granted in the last quarter of 2020.
The Banque de France classifies in broad categories:
- Cash loans
- loans and mortgages
- Loans to legal entities
- Loans to individuals with professional financing needs
