Having become emblematic, the Tiffany & Co jewelry house perfectly embodies the elegance of the past, but does not fail to be perpetually part of the present. A few weeks ago, she unveiled her latest collection: Tiffany Knot. A true homage to the city where it was born, New York, this collection takes us to its streets and one of its most representative architectural symbols despite its discretion: the ear knots found on the fences of the Big Apple. A resolutely urban source of inspiration, but which allows the American brand once again to combine elegance with everyday life. The result is a bold, almost rebellious collection, where the brand’s signature motif, the knot, takes on more graphic allure without ever abandoning the elegance inherent to the New York house.

Tribute to New York
It’s a new collection that is already iconic. Tiffany Knot returns to the origins of the brand, with a line that pays tribute to its city of birth, New York. Founded in 1837, the jewelry house was immediately noticed for the quality of its diamonds, and has since been worn on the fingers, wrists and necks of all generations thanks to its ability to constantly renew itself and be part of the zeitgeist. Much more than jewelry, it’s a cultural reference immortalized in Truman Capote’s novel, Breakfast à Tiffany’s, which takes place, here again, in New York. New York, the city that inspired this new collection by taking up an astonishing motif, a far cry from the elegance of fine jewelry and the house’s diamonds. Tiffany Knot is inspired by the street, by this more than common object in the city that never sleeps, so common that it goes unnoticed, is forgotten despite its omnipresence: the ears of fences crowned with a knot. The knot, emblematic symbol of the brand, moves away from the reference of the refined ribbon of fabric to turn towards a much more urban knot, a typical architectural detail which is then adorned with diamonds. A tribute that almost resembles a rebellion, the quintessence of elegance taking the city’s fences as a model. And yet, Tiffany Knot already seems to be eternal.
