“Wealthy Indonesian Family Buys 3 Luxury Houses in Singapore for $206.7 Million”

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A wealthy family from Indonesia reportedly bought 3 luxury houses in a strategic area in Singapore.

However, in the report the family name from Indonesia was not further stated.

Quoted from The Independent, Tuesday (25/4/2023), it was reported that the price of the residence reached 206.7 million Singapore dollars, or a value of 154.8 US dollars.

The figure for the purchase of luxury residences reached IDR 2.31 trillion (exchange rate of IDR 14,941).

A company engaged in the Asian real estate sector named Mingtiandi reported that the purchase of the luxury residence was made by a wealthy family from Indonesia. However, the name of the buyer was not mentioned in the report.

“Three bungalows were recently sold by Cuscaden Peak Investments, supported by Temasek Holdings,” the report states, quoted Tuesday (25/4/2023).

Specifically, the three mansions are located at 42, 42A and 42B Nassim Road in District 10.

The place was found on an adjoining piece of land and was selling for $4,500 per square foot.

Each bungalow sells for around US$69 million for a 1,406 square meter plot with a swimming pool and five bedrooms.

“Although 14 percent lower than Cuscaden’s initial asking price of S$239 million last September, this transaction was recorded as a new record high,” the report added.

Mingtiadi predicts that the buyer intends to rebuild the bungalow for his family’s use. On a side note, the upscale bungalow is the most exclusive landed house in Singapore.

Later, the owner of the luxury residence will be neighbors with Facebook Co-Founder Eduardo Saverin, as well as several embassies such as Japan, Russia and the Philippines.
