Al-Marsad newspaper: The Kuwaiti Public Prosecution issued a statement regarding the rumors related to the health of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The prosecution said that it will not stand idly by in the face of false rumors related to the health of the Emir of Kuwait and the arrangement of the ruling house, vowing that it will take firm legal measures against those who spew their poison in society.
The statement added that what made these rumors even more heinous is that their proponents have used the word weapon as a tool to spread poison within society in every way, using flimsy arguments represented in freedom of expression, sound intentions, and fear for the interests of the nation, intentionally or out of ignorance.
It is worth noting that the Kuwaiti Emiri Diwan said a few days ago that the Emir of Kuwait’s health condition is stable and he is still receiving the necessary treatment.
The Amiri Diwan called on everyone to ensure accuracy and obtain information from official sources.
