Kim Kardashian West is in mourning after star designer Virgil Abloh (41) passed away after a long illness.

Sunday night it became known Abloh, known as the founder of the Off-White brand and chief designer of Louis Vuitton’s men’s department, has died at the age of 41.
After the death was announced on his Instagram profile it quickly flooded in with messages from shocked and broken friends and fans praising Abloh.
Now Kardashian West has also taken to Instagram, to express her grief over the passing.

She also uses the Instagram post to pay tribute to the late star designer.
‘You were always so gentle, kind and calm. You somehow got time for everyone. We also often talked about your superpower of calm. “
Abloh’s death was announced on his own Instagram on Sunday. According to the Instagram post, Abloh must have had a rare form of cancer. The star designer is said to have been diagnosed two years ago, but chose to keep it hidden from the outside world.
Ablohs leaves behind a wife and two children. Kardashian West writes that she sends his wife lots of love, and that Abloh’s legacy will continue to live through her and their children.
