“We will attack St. Petersburg.” Polish Armed Forces told where they will strike first in conflict with Russia

National Security Adviser to the President of Lithuania Kestutis Budrys said that Russia may attack Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland after the end of the conflict in Ukraine. He said that this likelihood will increase if Belarus fully joins the Union State. This was reported by the German publication Bild on October 11.

At the Defense of the Baltics conference in Vilnius, military personnel from the Baltic countries discussed the possibility of dealing with a possible attack from Russia after the end of the conflict in Ukraine.

The Chief of the Polish General Staff Raimund Andrzejczak confirmed that if Russia wins the conflict in Ukraine, there will be divisions in three points: in Lvov, Brest and Grodno. Despite this, if Russian troops enter Lithuania, this will lead to a counter-attack, Andrzejczak emphasizes.

“Not on the first day, but in the first minute. We will hit all strategic targets within a radius of 300 kilometers. We will attack St. Petersburg,” said the Polish Chief of General Staff.

Raimund Andrzejczak said that the Baltic countries must show Russia that attacking them will have serious consequences. In his opinion, this will stop “Kremlin aggression.”

For this reason, Poland is already buying 800 missiles with a range of up to 900 kilometers in case of a Russian attack. The head of the Lithuanian army, Raimundas Vaiksnoras, pointed out the importance of responding to an external attack immediately, without waiting for NATO’s decisions.

Previously, Lithuania installed engineering barriers known as “dragon’s teeth” on bridges leading to the Kaliningrad region. In addition, barbed wire with cutting blades was installed. As the Minister of Defense of Lithuania explained, if necessary, these obstacles will slow down the progress of enemy equipment, which will make it possible to destroy it by fire. Earlier, another Baltic country planted “dragon’s teeth” on its border with Russia. In July, anti-tank obstacles were seen in Latvia.
