We were wounded, and no one supported; Do not come here to ask for votes anymore – Earthquake victims with a warning from Erdogan

Adiyaman: In Turkey and Syria, the local people are accusing the government of not getting enough help in the strong earthquake that killed more than 21,000 people. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan warns voters that they should not come here to ask for votes.

The earthquake was the most serious problem faced by Erdogan, who has ruled Turkey for two decades. Elections on May 14 will decide whether to continue. But it is not certain whether the election will be held on the same date.

Erdogan has declared a three-month state of emergency in 10 earthquake-hit provinces. The search for the missing persons is still going on. People are homeless, living on the streets and in cars.

The country’s economic downturn last year has dented Erdogan’s popularity. While gaining popularity from there, there was a shaking earthquake.

“We are deeply hurt. But there was no one to support’ – this is the opinion of Karamanmaras residents who were severely affected by the earthquake.

Most of the people did not get food and shelter. Some had to watch helplessly as their relatives lay under the rubble, begging for help and then slowly, slowly falling silent. The locals say with pain that they have waited for more than 48 hours for help.

Amidst these criticisms, Erdogan visited Karamanmaras, which was hit hard by the earthquake. There has been some delay. Erdogan said that it is not easy to prepare for such a big disaster.
