after being accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr ZelenskyRussia’s attempt to destroy its country through violent explosions and intense missile bombings that shook the capital, Kiev and dozens of Ukrainian cities on Monday morning, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov commented on the events.
Kadyrov addressed his words to his Ukrainian counterpart, noting that he had previously warned him against resisting Moscow.
“Not yet started”
“We warned you Zelensky, Russia hasn’t started yet,” he added in a comment posted on Telegram.
The Chechen president had previously announced that thousands of fighters had been sent to participate in the “Russian military operation” in Ukraine.
These statements came after Kiev and other cities witnessed violent explosions and intense missile bombardments since the morning.
Intense bombardments, killings and injuries
The Russian bombing hit “several” cities, such as Lviv, Dnipro and Ternopil, as well as Kharkiv and Zaporizhia.
Meanwhile, electricity outages have been reported in dozens of cities, amid requests for residents to stay in shelters, most notably in Kiev, where more than 11 people have been killed and more than 64 injured.
Interestingly, these attacks came after several warnings that Moscow could step up its military attacks, following the incident that took place last Saturday on the Crimean bridge, in which it accused Ukrainian intelligence.
