Every week a new action group finds life again. First it was the hype surrounding BLM and then the anti-corona measures, now we suddenly get an action group that wants even more government control. The action group does not necessarily come up with many new insights, they want the standard measures to be better implemented.
“We also argue for more testing. People who transmit the virus quickly, in particular, should be proactively tested every one to two weeks. Consider, for example, healthcare workers. ”
Medical experts such as Diederik Gommers do not like more measures, they prefer current measures to be better observed.
“In the past six weeks, there have always been between 30 and 36 patients on ICs,” says Diederik Gommers, chairman of the Dutch Intensive Care Association. Gommers is not in favor of more rules. “I prefer to wait with stricter measures until they are really necessary”,
