A few Italian newspapers in the Molise region reported this weekend the arrest of an Italian who had fled their country for three years. This man in his forties had been sentenced to five years in prison for many crimes. Newspapers include skilled robberies, stolen goods, and fraud in the provinces of Campobassao and Chieti from 2010 to 2018.
We learn that this Italian has just been arrested. The most astonishing thing about this story is how investigators stumbled upon him. Although using false documents, he fed his Facebook profile almost daily. And it is by posting a small harmless photo that the “carabinieri” were able to locate it.
