It is slowly becoming our miniseries. Over the past few months, we’ve shown several phones that boasted record-breaking fast charging. If a few years ago we enthusiastically welcomed 66W charging, in recent months we have gradually achieved the 120 and 150W target. So what do we have next? The answer comes from the iQOO 10 Pro.
The iQOO 10 Pro also has excellent processing. Officially, the phone once again collaborates with BMW in design, but you won’t recognize it too much in the dark version. Maximum on the discreet carbon pattern on the camera module.
It is the first phone on the market to support 200W charging. It achieved this with a 4,700mAh split battery and a reasonably large GaN charger, capable of delivering a high current of up to 10A. Under ideal conditions, the phone can then be fully charged in just 10 minutes. That way, you will be charged before you drink your morning coffee.
IQOO 10 Pro phone charging progress. Under normal home conditions, the phone charged in about 11 and a half minutes.
We tested the charging speed a total of 2 times. Once in front of the camera, in the warm attic of the newsroom, when we managed to charge the phone at full capacity in about 14 and a half minutes. At home in quieter conditions, where it was no longer so hot, we even managed a time of 11 and a half minutes. On the other hand, in both cases the phone was in airplane mode. Despite this, we can safely declare that he is an unequivocal record holder in this discipline.

A speedster with quality cooling
In addition to wired charging, 50W wireless charging is also supported, but to get this performance you need to buy an original wireless charger from Vivo. Anyone who is concerned about battery life due to high performance will surely be pleased that thanks to the high-quality cooling, the manufacturer promises a life of up to 1,600 charge cycles. This may be enough for about 4 years of normal use, which is probably longer than a person would normally buy a phone.
The temperature map while charging the phone shows that the heat is effectively distributed over the entire surface of the phone.
You can verify that the cooling really works in our video with a thermal imager, where the surface temperature of the phone in the off state did not exceed 43 ° C during the entire charging period. For the sake of interest, you can see in the video how, for example, the display illumination can raise the temperature of the phone by leaps and bounds. After the charging was completed, we also checked the temperature inside the phone, which according to the built-in sensor was 50 ° C. What is also crucial is that the heat is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the phone thanks to the high-quality cooling and there are no points with a significantly higher temperature.
However, the rest of the equipment was also not spared. There is a 6.78 “LTPO display with QHD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Performance is provided by Qualcomm’s most powerful processor: Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, integrated with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. Storage Once again, we have to commend the large and particularly fast fingerprint reader, which is ultrasonic.

The camera is triple here, with the main and ultra wide-angle lens offering a high resolution of 50 Mpx. The primary, however, can also boast gimbal stabilization, which we already know well from Vivo. The trio is then completed by a telephoto lens with an atypical resolution of 14.6 Mpx. For image processing, the phone uses its own Vivo V1 + chip, which we have seen in other flagship Vivo models.
The iQOO 10 Pro is, for all intents and purposes, a phone for demanding users, which will amaze you with unprecedented charging and exceptional equipment. Unfortunately, the phone is not sold in our country, but it is customary that the technology that Vivo first implements in the iQOO brand, is later implemented in other phones and this could be a similar case.
