Naguib Club, Secretary General of the Gold Division in the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold rose during today’s trading, as it recorded an amount of 865 pounds, compared to 855 pounds.
The price of a gram of 18-carat gold reached 741 pounds, and the price of a gram 24-karat was recorded at 988 pounds, and the price of the gold pound was 6920 pounds, and at the global level, gold prices fell today, Friday, as a jump in the yields of US Treasury bonds forced investors.
This is about re-evaluating their positions again after a significant decline earlier in the week, as the yellow metal was placed on the path of recording the first weekly decline since the first of last June.
As the price of gold in spot transactions decreased 0.1% to $ 1950.94 an ounce, and the price of the precious metal has decreased 4% since the start of this week, the largest decline since the first of last March.
