On this National Day, the Cyclo sport thionvillois organizes the seventy-third Grand Prix of the City, an event reserved for the 3rd category, juniors and pass’open. Disputed on a turnstile in the city center with a length of 1200 meters to be covered sixty times for a total of 72 km. Among the fifty runners present on the starting line, the Thionvilloise formation composed of Eric Nicolas, Olivier Morhain and Pascal Leideger will be present, but the competition will be tough with in particular Romain Krier and Théo Jung (VC Hettange), the Alsatians Maxence Babinger (VC Eckwersheim) and Antoine Hildebrand (UC Haguenau) without forgetting Jérémy Burton (UCV Charleville-Mézières).
The runners will take the rue du XX Corps, the allée Raymond-Poincaré, the Avenue Vauban, the avenue Clemenceau, and to finish the circuit the avenue du XX Corps where the start will be given and the finish judged. Departure at 3 p.m. and expected arrival around 4:45 p.m. Last year, the edition had to be canceled. The defending champion remains Valentin Christ.
