Romain Revelli, in what state of mind do you approach the match against Caen after three consecutive successes?
The speech remains the same, we are relieved after the last victories. However, we cannot take advantage of our situation for too long, we quickly got back to work. What do you think is positive after the victory against Valenciennes?
I am happy with the state of mind displayed by the team, to have been in the desired game plan. I am very happy with this match. I don’t have the same analysis as some people, we scored very early and they therefore played very offensively. We had to contain them, at 0-0 it might have been different. Against Quevilly, we had 35 crosses if I remember correctly. It’s okay at home to push to win. That was the story of this match in Valenciennes. We are humble, we try to adapt to the situation while remaining in our playing principles, namely defending by moving forward. We can be low but do it and be very vertical when collecting the ball. Outside, you can’t go out ten times, we’ve done it four or five times and we’ve been realistic. When we do this kind of service, it’s very positive. Now we must continue.
What is your opinion on the sanctions imposed on the Pau – Dunkirk match?
I moved to Paris. I explained myself calmly and respectfully to the disciplinary committee. I’m disappointed that I took a game, because I only spoke to the referee to report the injury to my goalkeeper. I was not very happy with this story, we remain educators and we should not give this image. I am happy that this story is over and in the end I accept this sanction. I also notice that the Pau club has been more sanctioned, this shows all the same that we were not at fault. My sanction is even a little symbolic I think, so that the only Pau club is not sanctioned. Some may have thought that we were at the origin when we were attacked. We are well-behaved people, we know what we’re talking about, we know what we’re doing. I will now serve my sanction against Le Havre.
