They are tried for aggravated voluntary violence, after the fall of a car in the Eure, in the early morning of July 2, near the Drouaise square, in Chartres
According to testimony, it all started in a nightclub in Nogent-le-Phaye, shortly before the establishment closed.

One of the young people would have set his sights on a young girl. According to the elements declined at the hearing, a somewhat heavy and insistent flirting technique, which would have pushed the young woman’s friends to intervene, asking the intruder to leave her alone.
A brief exchange of blows ensues. The security agents ask the young man, alcoholic, to leave the establishment with his friends. But, obviously annoyed at having been turned away, accompanied by his friends, he waits for the other group at the exit.
“A fight of ego with alcohol and more”
New blows are exchanged. One of the young woman’s friends is violently beaten. He falls to the ground, unconscious. One of his friends then decides to take him to the hospital. He installs it in his car, a blue Suzuki.
“We are from the Drouaise region,” he explained to the police during his testimony. “I didn’t know where the Chartres hospital was. I decided to take him to that of Dreux. »

Everything could have ended there, but it was without counting on the spirit of revenge that seemed to animate the rejected young man and his two friends. They decide not to stop there. Always according to the elements declined at the hearing, they set off in pursuit of the Suzuki, to, it seems, continue to do battle.
Was there a “pushchair” or not between the two vehicles, near Place Drouaise? The prosecutors deny. The Suzuki driver says yes. Still, he loses control of his car, which plunges into the river.

Once again, it could all have ended there. But the pursuers are waiting for the two young people to come out of the water, to continue to hit them violently. It took the intervention of witnesses for them to end up leaving.
The three suspects, who live in the Châteaudun region, were identified thanks to video surveillance cameras from the city of Chartres.
“What went through your mind? asks the president of the court hearing. “Was it a desire to hurt? To put to death? “The three young defendants mumble some unconvincing explanations:” I did not appreciate that my friend eats a potato at the disco,” says one.

The three young people are sentenced to the same sentence: two years in prison, including one year.
Given the absence of mentions on their criminal record, they are not placed in detention. A sentencing judge will try to adjust their conviction. From now on, they will no longer have to go to any nightclub, either in Eure-et-Loir or elsewhere.
