Today we will talk about the professionalism of Azamat Sovetovich and how the education received at the National Guard Academy shapes future defenders of the Fatherland.
The Academy of the National Guard of Kazakhstan has long established itself as one of the leading educational institutions for training military personnel.
Please tell us how the training is structured, what makes it unique?
– The Academy is not just an educational institution, it is a training center for the country’s future defenders, where real leaders and professionals in their field are formed. During the training process, cadets master all the necessary skills and knowledge that they will need in their future service.
Physical training plays an important role in the formation of strong and resilient officers. Cadets undergo regular training, which helps them maintain excellent physical shape and readiness to perform combat missions.
Training in tactics and strategy is an integral part of officer training. Cadets study modern methods of warfare, learn to make the right decisions in difficult situations and develop effective action plans.
The development of intellectual abilities is also an important aspect of learning. Cadets study a wide range of disciplines, including mathematics, physics, history and foreign languages. This helps them not only in their professional activities, but also in everyday life.
The Technical Support Department also conducts classes for future officers in six disciplines, allowing them to deepen their knowledge and skills in specific areas. This contributes to a deeper understanding and application of acquired knowledge in practice.
Particular attention is paid to the training of specialists in the direction of “tactical automotive support team”. This allows them to produce highly qualified technical specialists ready to perform the most complex tasks.
What disciplines does your department pay the most attention to? What does a future officer studying in your specialty need to know and be able to do?
– We focus on comprehensive preparation. Military theory and practice, of course, occupy a central place. Cadets master tactics, strategy, and unit management. But the humanitarian aspect is also important – our cadets study psychology, ethics, and law. An officer must be able not only to command effectively, but also to interact correctly with people, understand their motivation, and make fair decisions.
In addition to technical training, you mentioned the importance of other disciplines. What role do they play in the lives of future officers?
– A modern officer is not only a military professional, but also a leader. He must be an example for his subordinates and have high moral principles. Therefore, we pay great attention to teaching ethics, law, and psychology. We teach future officers to manage not only combat units, but also human relations. A correct understanding of the laws and the ability to communicate with people are the skills that are necessary for successful service today.
How is international cooperation organized at the Academy? How important is it to exchange experiences with other countries?
– International relations play a key role in the educational process of our educational institution. We actively cooperate with military educational institutions in various cities, which allows our cadets to gain unique experience and knowledge.
One of the striking examples of such cooperation is the industrial practice of our cadets at the SemAZ LLP car assembly plant in the city of Semey. There they not only observe the assembly process of such famous machines as URAL, SHACMAN, DONGFENG, but also take a direct part in this process. This not only contributes to the development of their professional skills, but also strengthens regional cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering.
In addition, our cadets undergo practical training at Semey Engineering JSC, where they master the repair of military equipment. This allows them to gain practical skills that can be applied in real combat conditions.
This year, our cadets also visited the city of Kokshetau, the KamAZ-Engineering automobile assembly plant for assembling KamAZ vehicles, where they became familiar with the assembly process. This allowed them not only to expand their knowledge about the production of military equipment, but also to establish new contacts with colleagues from other cities.
Participation in international practical conferences is also an important part of our educational process. These events give our cadets the opportunity to become familiar with the latest trends and techniques used in the armies of other countries. This helps them not only broaden their horizons, but also learn best practices that can be applied in practice.
In the modern world, the army must be prepared for challenges and threats that may arise at any time. Interaction with other countries allows us to be one step ahead and respond to new threats in a timely manner. This makes our educational institution one of the leaders in the field of training military specialists.
What is the main mission of the Academy? What is the most important thing that graduates receive at the end of the day?
– Our main task is to educate true patriots and leaders who are ready to defend the Motherland at any moment. We do not just teach military affairs – we form a personality, a person who is aware of his responsibility for the security of the country. Academy graduates are officers who proudly carry out their service and adhere to the principles of honor, dignity and justice. They are ready for any challenge, be it combat or assistance in emergency situations.
Thank you for such an interesting and insightful interview. It is clear that the Academy is truly a vital part of the national security system.
– Thank you! We are proud to contribute to the future of our country by raising those who are ready to protect and serve the people of Kazakhstan.
