In cyberspace one is raging cold War as never before. Tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of computer servers of companies, organizations and government services, have been invaded by Chinese hackers since January.
The Center for Cyber Security Belgium, responsible for cyber security in our country, is receiving more and more reports of cyber incidents at organizations and companies that use Microsoft Exchange Servers. In a press release, the center says that in Belgium more than 1,000 servers are vulnerable.
“In the coming weeks we may face a tsunami of cyber attacks on organizations that are vulnerable,” said the press release. Anyone using Microsoft Exchange Servers is advised to perform updates, scan the network for suspicious movements and, if necessary, call in an expert.
