Shravan Kumar told reporters here, “By issuing a whip, the MLAs have been instructed to remain present in the House and vote in favor of the government whenever the opportunity arises. However, this is a regular process, which we do before every assembly session.” However, state minister Shravan Kumar also said, “Undoubtedly, there are consequences for disobeying the whip. The MLAs concerned may have to lose their membership due to this.”
Kumar said this on the sidelines of a lunch organized for party MLAs at his residence, where signatures were collected from those present. However, some MLAs remained absent.
