Former Bihar Chief Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi on Saturday said that the whip will be appointed to ensure the presence of all the party MLAs when the newly formed National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government wins the trust vote on Monday. has been issued. He told news agency ANI, “…we have issued a whip that our four MLAs will vote for the NDA alliance…it is very clear…we may be poor, but not worthless…I will remain where I am.”

On the other hand, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United (JDU) also said that his party has issued a whip asking all the MLAs to remain present in the assembly during the floor test. JDU chief whip Shravan Kumar said those violating the whip “will lose their membership.” Along with this, he said that this is “a regular process before every assembly session.”

Shravan Kumar told reporters here, “By issuing a whip, the MLAs have been instructed to remain present in the House and vote in favor of the government whenever the opportunity arises. However, this is a regular process, which we do before every assembly session.” However, state minister Shravan Kumar also said, “Undoubtedly, there are consequences for disobeying the whip. The MLAs concerned may have to lose their membership due to this.”

Kumar said this on the sidelines of a lunch organized for party MLAs at his residence, where signatures were collected from those present. However, some MLAs remained absent. He said, “Some of our MLAs could not come due to ill health. He has told me his problem.” He also rejected speculations that party president and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was upset after seeing very few MLAs present at the lunch and had angrily left the minister’s residence.
