He was approached for help by worried parents whose children use the pool.
“At the end of last week, I met with more than 200 parents who expressed their concern to me that free access to the pool of the 153rd school could be stopped, commented Kaloyan Pargov. – In the sports school, a class with swimming and the parents were afraid that this would become a reason to prevent free access to the sports facility. Children from “Nadezhda”, “Vrabnitsa” and other areas of Sofia have been swimming for free. I undertook to check what is happening. I spoke with the mayor of the district, with the chairman of the Lokomotiv (Sf) sports club. After all, free access to the pool will not be stopped, as the parents feared to use the public municipal sports infrastructure and will not have to pay high fees every month”.
Kaloyan Pargov explained that the sports class with swimming, in which 15-20 children will be enrolled, will not restrict the hours of use and the possibility of free access will remain. “A schedule for use will be drawn up and everyone will be satisfied, he said. – Ownership of the pool will remain with the Sports School “Sofia” as a guarantee that in the future no exorbitant fees will be imposed for its use.”
