Born in the wrong body
In a 17-minute video, 25-year-old NikkieTutorials extensively reveals that she is transgender and was born in the wrong body. The vlogger claims to have waited a long time to bring out this news, but she felt that she now had no choice. That also had to do with blackmail. “People blackmailed me because they wanted to leak my story to the media,” says Nikkie. “It was scary to know that there are such nasty people who do not want to respect someone’s true self”.
NikkieTutorials also tells in the emotional video that she started taking hormone treatments at the age of fourteen and that she had gone through the entire process at the age of nineteen. “With this message I want to inspire little Nikkies around the world who are insecure, feel out of place, feel misunderstood,” says Nikkie in the camera, while she is visibly having a hard time.
