Before challenging Aryna Sabalenka for the second time, this Sunday in the Indian Wells WTA 1000 final (from 9 p.m.), almost two months after her defeat in the Australian Open final against this same Belarusian, Elena Rybakina came back at a press conference on her incredible progress.
“I think I’ve improved in those four years. It’s just that everything comes together: the experience, the team has grown and works a lot on the physical form. I’m just getting a bit stronger physically, and just the work we’ve done over the last four years, I’m showing now on the pitch and with my results. I have to say there are times on the court where I’m like, ‘Okay, I can beat anybody if I always play like this’. »
