“We Live” presents the next concert film – Lahr

With the Swiss prog rock band Dead Venus, the Lahr online music festival goes into its second season on Sunday.

(BZ). The second season of the “We Live” music festival from the Lahr slaughterhouse starts on Sunday, April 18th. The protagonist of the first episode after the winter break is the prog rock band Dead Venus around front woman Seraina Telli from Switzerland. The Badische Zeitung shows the concert film on its Facebook pages.

Seraina Telli, known for her role as the singer of the metal band Burning Witches, has done the shooting in the Schlachthof with her new band Dead Venus. You can see a 60-minute concert on Sunday. Together with drummer Mike Malloth and bassist Andr Grtner, Telli runs a large program, switches from keyboard to guitar, screeching the highest notes through the Lahr slaughterhouse, only to impress in the next moment with gentle jazz vocals. Drummer Malloth fascinates with the greatest possible variety, while Grtner shines with virtuoso bass solos, according to a press release from the Lahrer Punchline Studios. “We were just happy to finally get back on stage”, said the singer after the concert in Lahr and thanked the organizers of the Lahr rock workshop.

As in season one, the production team of the Punchline Studios, the Lahrer Rockwerkstatt and their cooperation partner Schlachthof Jugend und Kultur shows why one sets itself apart from the common live stream formats of other providers. They promise elaborate tracking shots, artistic light and a thick sound. “The concert films stand for themselves as works of art,” write those responsible confidently in a press release. “Even after the corona pandemic, the films should still be a calling card for the artists,” emphasizes producer Pirmin Styrnol, who also directs the films with his brother Maik.
