KOMPAS.com – Two personnel Superman Is Dead, Bobby Kool and Eka Rock were summoned by Polda investigators Bali as a witness to the alleged defamation of good name that ensnared I Gede Ari Astina alias Jerinx, Tuesday (18/8/2020).

They came to the Bali Regional Police accompanied by Jerinx’s attorney, Wayan Gendo Suardana. Their arrival to explain the figure of Jerinx.

“We came to explain how Jerinx really was,” said Bobby at the Bali Police Headquarters.

Meanwhile Eka said, during his 25 years with Jerinx in the band SID, he knew how Jerinx was.

“We know him very well. We have been together for 25 years, not friends anymore, but we are brothers,” said Eka.

Continue Eka, Jerinx does not mean to humiliate a person or group.

“He has no intention of defaming, let alone demeaning,” he was quoted as saying TribunBali.com.

Previously reported, Jerinx was named a suspect in the alleged defamation case against the Bali Province Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI).

IDI Bali reported the case because of an upload on Jerinx’s personal Instagram.

In the upload, there is a written sentence, because it is proud to be a lack of WHO, IDI and the hospital arbitrarily obliging all people who will give birth to a Covid-19 test.

Jerinx admitted that the upload was a criticism of IDI.

For his actions, the police ensnared Jerinx with Article 28 Paragraph (2) of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (ITE) on hate speech to certain groups of people.

Now, Jerinx is in the Bali Police Detention Center for 20 days for investigations.
