The concert at the fortress in Trondheim was canceled on Wednesday evening after lightning and rain.

– There was one lightning strike at Ila, and one at Munkholmen which caused a pause of approximately 15 minutes until it moved further north-west, says Stein Vanebo, booking manager at Trondheim Stage to VG.

It was guest artist Odd Nordstoga who was on stage when the concert was interrupted.

When the artist returned to the stage, he praised the audience’s patience.

– “You are the toughest in the world,” said Nordstoga to the audience standing there in the rain, Vanebo says.

– We in the audience are soft and happy.

According to Åge Aleksandersen’s website, tonight’s concert is sold out.

In addition to Nordstoga, Morten Abel and Marja Mortensson also visited.
