Zelensky’s direct speech: “During a war, it is difficult to find time and fly half the globe. But we heard you, your signals in parliament and your personal energy to support Ukraine, our people who are fighting against Russian aggression.”
Details: Zelensky thanked Miley for the invitation and congratulated him on his official assumption of office as President of Argentina.
He expressed his conviction that Ukraine and Argentina, the peoples of the two states, can have a powerful common future. The President of Ukraine noted that the Argentine people greatly respect freedom, and this is exactly what Ukrainians are fighting for today.
Zelensky told the President of Argentina about the process of implementing the Ukrainian peace formula. He invited the Argentine side to participate in the fourth meeting of national security and foreign policy advisers on the implementation of the Peace Formula in January 2024 and in the preparation of the first founding Global Peace Summit.
The parties also discussed the next steps in preparing for the Ukraine-Latin America summit, which will open a new page in Ukraine’s relations with the states of the region.
The interlocutors paid special attention to the development of bilateral cooperation in a number of areas.
