On the goal not yet arrived: “I’m not very passionate about statistics, there are many good attackers here at Napoli, so I don’t feel the need to score myself. I always say to myself “Frank, you make sure that the team stays balanced and that you don’t concede any goals and make sure others play well, that’s what the club asks of you“. On the relationship with Spalletti: “The coach and I are alike, we have two great personalities and I like him to have character. They leave out the fact that he is my coach, the two of us respect each other a lot as people. He is very good at putting himself in the shoes of us players, he tries to understand what goes into our heads and pushes us so much. If you take the initiative to talk to him, he listens to you. More than once, when things didn’t go out on the pitch, I looked at him and explained what I thought. He understood me and told me “Ok, adapt and tell others too”. It’s nice when a coach gives you the opportunity to talk to him, he pushes you to give everything for him ”.
On the scudetto dream: “I have a message for the whole team: if we play as a family, if we play as a team, if we all believe in it, we can do it. I know our fans will continue to support us until the end and I don’t want to disappoint them. I don’t want Napoli to give up, I want us to give everything for all the people who believe in us and who know it’s possible. They must know that there are 23 warriors who have fought to the end who cannot be blamed for anything. Everything is possible in football and in life, so I tell you: we will fight until the end “.
On the match against Empoli: “I remember the first leg match against Empoli, it’s a bitter memory, but in the end it is part of football.
