Al-Marsad newspaper: the energy minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, spoke of an established Saudi custom according to which “the Saudis do not turn their backs on anyone when they speak”.
Prince Abdulaziz apologized to the attendees for turning their backs on them during the conversation, noting that the organizers had to take this into account, during his dialogue in the sixth edition of the Future Investment Initiative, during a session entitled Entrepreneurship through Energy.
Prince Abdulaziz said the Kingdom decided to be mature about tensions with America following OPEC Plus’ decision to reduce oil production.
