After the announcement of the signing of the contract between the federation and the Pfizer company to acquire vaccines for children from the age of 5, the deputy of the Citizen Movement, Francisco Sánchez Villegas, pointed out that it is the result of the citizen’s struggle to protect the health of children from Mexico.
“We have achieved it. Our children will receive their Pfizer vaccine. We citizens forced the federation to acquire the pediatric Pfizer vaccine, we did not allow the Cuban vaccine to be experimented on in our children. Our struggle is bearing fruit,” he said.
The Chihuahuan legislator reiterated that the fight for the vaccination of minors took place through more than 5 thousand injunctions promoted and won where the judicial mandate was given for the application of a vaccine endorsed by the World Health Organization.
Likewise, he recalled, the constitutional controversy to end the exclusion of children in the national Covid vaccination program was presented to the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
In that sense, Francisco Sánchez pointed out, it is about privileging the greater good of children, so from the Bancada Naranja it will continue to work tirelessly for the health of children.
