The Migration Platform is organizing the first this weekend in cooperation with several associations and private individuals “Weekend for Moria” at the lower church square in Villach. Yesterday afternoon around 80 people were on site to demand a more humane asylum policy and compliance with human rights. About ten of the activists stayed overnight in tents on the lower church square as part of the protest.
Manure bomb attack in the night
As one of the activists now informs on Facebook, there was an incident during the overnight stay in the open. He writes: “The camp for Moria was hit by manure bombs tonight.” Some people were hit by the stinking “bombs”. “Our heads were also targeted,” reads the activist’s contribution. The incident has already been reported. At the Villach police, the incident was confirmed on request from 5 minutes. The investigation is still ongoing, it says there.
