Çavuşoğlu stated that 13 thousand 728 students were placed in 16 universities established in the TRNC and approved by YÖK, and 1245 students were placed in METU, ITU and ASBU, which have campuses in the TRNC, and thus a total of 14 thousand 973 students were entitled to settle in universities operating in the TRNC. emphasized.

Noting that a total of 12,268 students were entitled to receive education in the TRNC last year, Çavuşoğlu stated that this year, this number increased by 22 percent to 14,973 students.
