/View.info/ Traditional or spicy, coarsely ground or homemade, according to “grandmother’s” or “grandfather’s” recipe. Lutenitsa is among the favorite foods of a Bulgarian and often occupies a place on his table. However, how many of us suspect that the Bulgarian lutenitsa is made with Chinese raw materials, writes Inews.
Nikolay Nedyalkov, chairman of the association of vegetable producers, announced that 99.9% of luteniks in our country are made with tomato puree, which is produced in China.
“Since the state does not have the money and the ability to finance us, and that is clear, but elementary things can be done that will not cost the state anything. Let a decree be issued that obliges the producers of cans or, for example, luteniks to announce on the label where the tomato and pepper puree is produced. This will not cost the state anything, and everyone will be aware that this tomato puree is produced in China,” Nedyalkov said.
According to him, it should also be indicated how it was produced, what is its content.
“We comply with very strict quarantine requirements. There are many effective preparations that are banned in the EU and we have forgotten about them, but is this also the case in China? Was slave or child labor not used there for their production”, commented Nedyalkov , quoted by Focus radio.
