We don’t watch together NO World Cup – Public Viewing – Monaco is an example for human rights!

When Germany takes on Spain against Spain at the World Cup in Qatar this Sunday, November 27, Morningman invites Gong 96.3’s Mike Thiel to ‘We’re Not Watching a World Cup Together’ – Public Viewing.

“Qatar is a country where the human rights situation is difficult to reconcile with our values. Our German national football team is now refraining from making a recognizable statement for fear of sanctions for diversity. Captain Manuel Neuer will not wear a matching bandage. I think: “Now we should set an example to Munich and the region all the more united. A sign that human rights in all countries of this land must be respected in the same way”.

From this morning the location for public viewing has also been set: the Am Sunday at 19:00 Audi Dome Munich extra open its gates. When the football match starts at 20:00, public viewing does not show the national team’s World Cup match, but a film.

Gong 96.3 listeners will decide which strip will be shown this week.

Thiel: “I need everyone’s support in Munich. You can come with a Germany shirt and a fan outfit – we have room for thousands of people who want to set an example for human rights.”

After 45 minutes there will be a short half-time break, just like in football: two world-famous DJ stars have promised Morningman Mike that they will come and support the action.

Admission to the event is free. You can now register for free public viewing at radiogong.de.
