Santiago Juxtlahuaca.- Tens of displaced triqui families of Copala White Land voted this Sunday for a “safe return” in a special box located in Yosoyuxi Copalain the region Oaxacan Mixtec.
“We are not going to vote for any party, because they are all the same, they promise but they do not deliver, that is why in the ballots we demand our safe return,” Tierra Blanca authorities said in an interview with THE UNIVERSAL.
Other displaced families cast their vote in one of the five special squares located in Santiago Juxtlahuaca, Tlaxiaco, Huajuapan and Putla de Guerrero, in the same region.
In the case of Yosoyuxi, the families cast their vote in two extraordinary boxeswhich was also attended by residents of this community.
