This was stated by the deputy chairman of the PG of BSP LEFT BULGARIA Atanas Merdzhanov to journalists in the parliament. He explained that, in this sense, the BSP did not support Dimitar Radev for governor, and in all probability the proposals for deputy governors will not receive support either, if they are as he has stated. “GERB’s position is very interesting and it has been developing in the last few months. From Borisov’s applications for the exclusion of all members of the Management Board to reflections that one deputy governor in a different department from “Banking Supervision” cannot take over the mistakes of another deputy governor”, commented the representative of the people. According to him, what is more important will be the responsibilities of all members from now on. “The greatest responsibility will be borne by both the governor and political forces that supported him,” he added. Merdzhanov emphasized that from the very beginning the intention of BSP LEFT BULGARIA was constructive. “We met with each of the candidates. Unfortunately, there was not enough time with Biser Manolov. We listened, asked our questions, assessed and decided that Mr. Yotsov most fully meets the requirements we have for management of the bank, and therefore we supported him. For Mr. Radev, the behavior was decisive enough”, concluded Atanas Merdzhanov.
