Our ride – series student couple Iris32, and Jere29, are in trouble in Mäntsälä, where the 60-square-meter log house they renovated is located. 30,000 euros have been set aside for the renovation of the hundred-year-old old man’s house, which has now been used. It’s still not ready.
– The money is gone now, Jere reveals in the series.
He and Iiris ended up buying the house half-heartedly. They just jokingly looked to see if a suitable house for them happened to be for sale. Yes, it hurt.
– We got a loan and bought this, Iiris said earlier in the program.
In today’s episode from Maikkar, Iiris tells how two students managed to get a loan at all.
– We didn’t have any assets when we bought the house. There were no savings, Iiris tells the camera.
– My father has a two-room apartment, which he put up as a guarantee.
– The bank apparently gave the loan because Jere is studying for a good field.
The renovation is really starting to feel numb, so Jere and Iiris take a break for a couple of weeks before they continue with a new project. MTV3
Jere studies computer science. Iiris, who previously worked as a florist, will become a photographer.
– I was the most disbelieving in the world that we got the loan, Iiris admits on TV.
Jerekin was surprised. He recalls how the officer’s attitude towards them changed during the negotiations.
– The voice changed in the clock: “Oh, well, you’ll have a doctor’s income soon. Yes, of course you will,” Jere recalls the progress of the loan negotiations.
