Books – Muhammad Nassar:
Dr. Jad Al-Qadi, head of the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research, sent an urgent message to Egyptian citizens, after residents of Cairo and Giza felt an earthquake on Monday evening.
Al-Qadi denied, in statements to reporters, that any earthquakes occurred in Egypt today, stressing that the monitoring stations did not receive any signals of any earthquakes in Egypt or their source in Egypt.
Al-Qadi said that all that happened was a new earthquake that struck the Turkish city of Antioch, which was felt by the residents of Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan, adding that it was of a magnitude of 6.3 on the Richter.
And Egyptian citizens said, on social media, that they felt an earthquake on Monday evening, at the same time as the Turkish earthquake in Antioch.
