The artist, as you know, together with his wife opposes the SVO on the territory of Ukraine, and therefore did not wish his colleagues at the Moscow Art Theater such sudden surprises as a canceled reservation. As for moving abroad, here Nazarov and Vasilyeva found an explanation. According to the artists, they began to notice in the media reasoning on the topic that they, as the guilty ones, need to find a suitable criminal article. It was then that Nazarov and Vasilyeva, who were vacationing abroad, decided to return a return ticket to Russia.
Now, contrary to rumors, the couple are not in Israel, but in Cannes. Here, ten years ago, they bought a house in which they now live. Nazarov and Vasilyeva also do not complain about the lack of work. According to Dmitry Yuryevich, until the fall their schedule is filled with performances. Even the persecution on the Web does not greatly upset the actors expelled from the Moscow Art Theater. Nazarov, a well-known football fan, has received threats and insults on his personal social media before. Now, according to the artist, Internet bots often write to him, which do not bother him much.
Nazarov has not yet said anything about the timing of his return home. Obviously, under the current circumstances, the star of the “Kitchen” with his wife in Russia has nothing to do, although their children and friends remained there. However, Dmitry Yuryevich has no doubts that someday he and Vasilyeva will really return. But whether he will retire after that or continue to engage in acting is a big question.
“We did not betray Russia, Russia did not betray us. We will return to another theatre. Maybe not the theatre. But we will return and we will create. Although I’m already tired. Years. I always can’t figure out if I’m flirting. But my wife says that I’m lying when I say that I want to sit here (in Cannes – ed. note) and do nothing, ”Nazarov said in an interview for the YouTube channel of Katerina Gordeeva, recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation.
