‘We destroyed 150 Hamas underground infrastructure, mastermind of October 7 massacre dead,’ says Israeli military

The expansion and increase in the intensity of their operations in the Gaza Strip, with the aim of destroying Hamas infrastructure, was announced on Saturday morning by the forces of the Israeli army (IDF), who also announced that they had killed one of planners of the October 7 massacre in southern Israel.

Specifically, they announced that approximately 150 underground targets were destroyed in the overnight raids in the north of the Strip. According to the IDF spokesman, the strikes destroyed combat tunnels, underground fighting areas and underground terrorist infrastructure of the Palestinian organization. The statement also said that around 100 Air Force fighter jets took part in the night attacks.

At the same time, they announced that they killed the head of the Hamas air force in the Gaza Strip. According to the statement, Atsam Abu Rafa was one of the planners of the October 7 attack, guided the terrorists who infiltrated the Gaza Strip by parachuting, and directed the drone attacks that hit IDF positions. The IDF also announced that it attacked a Hezbollah military infrastructure in response to yesterday’s rockets aimed at Israel that landed in Syrian territory.
