“Seeing a child barefoot – no shoes, no socks. From a purely human point of view, we took care of them and there was no leaving them. This is our job, we saved two lives,” he said the junior inspector Teodor Todorov of RDGP – Dragoman.
Uniformed officers from Dragoman’s Special Tactics Actions sector discovered them this morning on the road near the village of Gaber.
The 9-year-old was barefoot. They were immediately given medical attention. Border guards accompanied the man and his son to “Pirogov”.
One of the border policemen brought his children’s clothes and shoes to the boy, bTV reported.
