Aiming for a minimum of privacy on our terrace is the prerogative of many. To read a book, sunbathe and enjoy a few minutes of healthy relaxation. The balcony or the terrace they are an integral part of our home, so avoiding an excess of indiscretion from the neighbor is our intention.

Which ones are they
The three plants that can come to our rescue without irritating the condominiums are bamboo, the nandina domestica and clematis. Obviously we have to wait for them to grow. So the effect is even less “violent” in the watchful eyes of the other condominium.
Bamboo
It is a plant widely used to create real booths which, however, does not take away the light from the surface. The attention we must have is to buy very sturdy pots and create a good protection against the floor. The roots of bamboo, in fact, are very strong. And they extend beyond the vase.
The domestic nandina
It is an evergreen plant that manages to form a hedge and reaches a medium height. In the summer it gives us small white flowers, while in the winter it produces small red berries.
In autumn the leaves turn reddish. Very suitable for those who do not have particular empathy with the green world, because it does not require special care. And it adapts easily to climatic variations.
The clematis
They are very robust climbing plants. They are bushy and represent a real choreography. In fact, they have wonderful star-shaped flowers. And in various colors.
