“Our candidate for mayor of Kazanlak Nikolay Terziev and our candidates for municipal councilors want the municipality of Kazanlak to conduct politics for the people and they will be able to do it. They will succeed in making the municipality better and with more perspective for the people living in it”. With these words, the chairman of the BSP, Mihail Mikov, addressed the hundreds gathered in Kazanlak. He emphasized that Nikolay Terziev is from the young generation of the BSP, who take the responsibility to enter the battle in the name of the people and their better life.
“Only we from BSP LEFT BULGARIA can offer people something different from what is happening at the moment. A different understanding of local government, not just distribution of money and services, but real politics for the people,” Mikov was emphatic. He emphasized that there is no other party that will offer its platform in these elections, and the leftist standards show a different attitude – apart from concrete and asphalt, apart from pipes, because the most important thing is how people live in a municipality. Mikov explained that the result of the management of GERB is 11 million liabilities of the municipality, but also a double increase in fees for kindergartens, the increase in the price of all administrative services.
“Only representatives of the BSP LEFT BULGARIA defended their priorities and stood firmly behind their positions and social policy,” explained the leader of the left and recalled that the BSP did not participate in the withdrawal of a 16 billion loan, the division of people in health care into socially significant and insignificant, taking funds from public schools to give to private ones. According to him, this is exactly the approach that the candidates of the governing parties in the local government would propose. “Citizens cannot be misled and when they go to vote on the 25th, ask themselves who represents whom and whose interests they are protecting,” Mikov concluded.
Nikolay Terziev: Let’s wake up the people of Kazan
“From today until October 25th, we must wake up the people of Kazanlak and see what is offered to us for the next four years.” This is what the candidate of the left for mayor of Kazanlak Nikolay Terziev said. In his words, the opponents offer only a nice package – something shiny and well-packaged, but empty of content and meaning. He emphasized that the fees have been raised almost twice, but Kazanlak is not twice as clean and tidy. Terziev took responsibility for the residents of Kazan to abolish kindergarten fees. “There can be many sidewalks and gardens, but when the refrigerator is empty, it cannot satisfy us. We provide a real alternative and give Kazanlak a choice,” he said categorically. According to him, in a state where the rulers instill fear and use violence, honest working people will appreciate this.
Dragomir Stoynev: We are putting an end to the right-wing government in Kazanlak
“We must put an end to the right-wing rule in Kazanlak.” This was stated by the deputy chairman of the BSP and deputy from the region Dragomir Stoynev. He emphasized that the people of Kazan must be given answers to many questions: how in one year the municipality got so much in debt, how are we ready to destroy the Institute of Rose and Essential Oil Crops, to lose hundreds of jobs, how the municipality invested all Kazanlak’s money in KTB. “We need to get answers to these questions so we know what kind of people have been in charge and not allow this to happen again.” For this to happen, we must all be organized and convince people that we are the ones who can solve their problems, and I am sure that on October 25th we will greet a new mayor”, concluded Dragomir Stoynev.
