The IGN Fan Fest weekend event wasn’t as small as we expected. Among its strongest moments are definitely the introduction of the new Diablo IV cinematic along with the announcement regarding the beta version. If you have pre-ordered the game, you can start testing as early as March 17. This segment will run until March 19. From March 24 to 26 but everyone gets a chance to try it. If you play the first date, your progress will carry over to the second. However, progress from the beta will not be transferred to the final game.
An interesting thing that was revealed along with the movie is that these sequences will also feature a main character that you create yourself in the editor. We’ll see how well it will work in the beta, where there should be several cutscenes. Overall, this demo should offer over 30 hours of contentwhich includes story and side quests.
Director of Development Joe Shely added during the presentation that in the beta we will be able to reach up to after level 25, we go through the prologue and the first act in the Fractured Peaks location. Now we just have to wait a few weeks and we will be able to touch the new Diablo for ourselves. The game will then be released in full version 6. června na PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One a Xbox Series S|X.
