“We can expect good news at the beginning of next year, all trends are for lower fuel prices worldwide.” This was stated by the chairman of the Bulgarian Oil and Gas Association Svetoslav Benchev in the “NOVA News Interview”. However, he warned that the trend could change at any moment.
“We see what kind of geopolitical situation we live in, but at least for the moment, let’s say that the prices will go down slightly,” said Benchev. He defined as “contradictory” the text that was published in the State Gazette and concerns the ban on the export of processed Russian oil from January 1.
Benchev also said that he has assurances from Lukoil that non-Russian oil is currently being processed in the refinery, but the problem remains that it must be transported across the Bosphorus, as it is becoming more expensive.
