Team spirit is still very much present after all these years among these exceptional skiers who made the heyday of French skiing, as the mayor of Saint Lary, André Mir said: “It is extraordinary that we can enjoy the presence of these great women who have marked the history of French skiing, especially in terms of group performance, I truly believe that we will never experience it again”.

“A unique landscape”

It was aboard this beautiful gondola, specially flocked in the image of this team that won several gold medals, that the four stars of the day took their seats to disembark, 6 minutes later, at the Pic de Tourette, located at 2,320 meters above sea level. sea ​​level and strike a pose, more than half a century later together, with the same smile.
