How did you know each other?
«In 1988, at dinner with friends, it was winter, I complained about the heating but I had a fireplace in the house. The next day Massimo sent me a van full of wood with a note: to keep you warm».
And the story began.
“He was sweet, cute, loving. I was struck by his kindness and his calmness.’
They say he loved cards and billiards.
‘In the three years we’ve been together I’ve never seen him play cards or billiards. Massimo woke up late, then went to the studio to write projects. Computers and the first rudimentary cell phones had come out. He was fascinated by technology. Did he ever see his films again? Never”.
Did you understand him when he acted in strict Neapolitan?

Did he talk to you about the heart problem?
«I knew there was that problem, he took medicines in a disciplined way, then he played football, it was something that seemed to be manageable, no one thought he would leave so soon, not even him. When he died I had just returned to America. I took the plane back and went to the funeral. It took me ten years to see his last film, “The postman”».
When did it arrive in Italy?
«In 1983, I was a model, I only knew how to say hello and goodbye. I stayed there for 22 years, until I returned to Phoenix, Arizona, where my parents lived.”
Why did he stand in the elections for the National Alliance?
“Just to get quorum, a quick thing, for women. They introduced me to the red colleges, I remember some rallies, I didn’t have that experience to be elected. But I’m here to talk about Massimo. We were like two children, happy to live a quiet life.’
You were supposed to get married, wrote the glossy magazines.
