We bring “Safe School Zone” to Topo Chico elementary school

The integrity of the boys and girls of Monterrey is a priority for the municipal government, which is why they take the “Safe School Zone” program to their primary school.

The Secretariats for Security and Protection of Citizenship, and for Sustainable Urban Development, joined forces with the Citizen Activation Movement (MOVAC) to go to the “María Andrea Villarreal” school in the Topo Chico neighborhood.

The objective is to improve road safety in front of educational establishments for the benefit of students, parents and administrative staff.

This is intended for drivers to respect speed limits and avoid traffic events.

MOVAC students, teachers and staff were in charge of painting the pedestrian areas in front of the elementary school.

Elements of Road Culture of the Monterrey Traffic Department gave a preventive talk to students and teachers to take care of themselves as pedestrians.

The bottarga of this corporation, known as “Regio León”, also participated in the event, who lived with the minors.

The staff of the Road Safety Directorate provided support for the signage outside the primary school.
