We Ask the Education Office to Give Sanctions

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria | felt concerned about the actions of one of the teachers at SMAN 58 Jakarta who acted racially against his students.

This Gerindra politician said that the teacher could be sanctioned according to the applicable rules.

Therefore, he asked the DKI Jakarta Education Agency to impose sanctions on the unscrupulous SMAN 58 teacher with the initials TS (56) who acted racially against the student.

“Later, we ask the Education Office to arrange sanctions for those concerned,” said Riza at the Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (4/11/2020).

The reason is, Riza continued, intolerant action is a mistake.

“It is indeed wrong, it is not permissible for an educator, let alone a teacher, arrange or intervene about the choice of the Student Council. However, we are grateful, the person concerned has realized that it is a wrong act, and has apologized,” said Riza.
