/ world today news/ The National History Museum (NIM) will keep the gold coins of Tsvetan Vassilev. They are a real treasure because they are worth millions of euros.
“There are 1,000 coins. They are new, they are all from the 20th century. We have not received them yet. But we have an inventory from which we can see what they are. One of the coins is worth about 7.5 million euros. It has a double eagle. No we have calculated the total price of all the coins. But imagine the Vatican series, which was minted in a limited edition. These coins are very expensive,” said NIM director Bozhidar Dimitrov in the morning block of BNT.
The coins had to be transported in an armored car by the BNB, so that everything was legal and clean. And there were few such cars in the national bank. When they arrive at NIM, the coins will undergo an examination to determine how many of them are genuine.
“The paintings of Tsvetan Vassilev will not be shown soon, because their ownership has not been established. At the moment, we are like a wardrobe. We are just storing,” explained Dimitrov.
NIM is the most heavily guarded museum, therefore the possessions of Tsvetan Vassilev are kept there. The best guards were the dogs Boyko, Tsvetelina and Maya. Maya was the meanest and hot-headed.
